Bella tries to escape the heaviness of home, where her father is trapped in a depression. Riding through the city on her scooter, she delivers meals and avoids her own thoughts. While everyone around her has their own form of escapism — TV, alcohol, social media — Bella looks for grounding in movement and silence. But how far can you run from something that always travels with you?
This short film explores loneliness and the ways we try to escape it, asking the question: is escape a solution, or merely a delay?
